Teachable.

I've recently learnt this term, Teachable, from Ms Koh.
I've also learnt something important from her regarding teaching.

I went back to KCB the other day and basically everything was in a mess. I was supposed to tutor the tuba section but somehow i ended up tutoring the trombone/euphonium section. I would not say that they are un-teachable but they are probably lacking spirit. I can tell from their faces that they are questioning me why am i teaching them by playing long notes. I know the reason why, I'm doing so but i bet they won't understand even if i told them. I know that they must be thinking that why am i not teaching them more advance techniques? The reason is that they will find a chance to use these techniques unless their basic is good.

I recently taught a boy named, Wilson(tuba), who is from Pei Cai Secondary. Initially, he was a weak player but after 3 days at the Outreached! camp he became more confident in playing. He might not have perfect pitch listening, articulation or fingering but it was definitely a joy to be teaching. He is enthusiastic and passionate. How much he has learnt, I've got no idea but i can definitely hear the vast difference since he 1st steped into NPCB. I'm very proud of him.

But its quite sad to say that there are those who think that they are high and mighty and refused to be taught (even if they are from WW sections i can tell their mistakes quite obviously) These are the quite unteachable ones. Unless they are humble, they will never improve. Such cockiness, is a great NONO to any musician.

Honestly, I'm in a swing of bad moods

I'm damn frustrated with a particular person who I believe is a moron. (an adult with the mental capacity between the ages of 7 to 12)
All due to him being extremely petty like soe 5 year old child or something.
He calls himself a bigwig (even if you think you are a "bigwig" there's no need to exclaim it so loudly)
He calls me being bias and accused me of being a bigot.

...right?

I've heard of this phrase "Jack Be Humble."

I'm Sorry...

YIYANG I'M SORRY FOR POKING YOUR EYES I WROTE THIS IN BOLD TO SHOW MY APOLOGY!

Apart from that today is an ok day.

Lately, I'm quite sick of hearing things of being normal. I'm Sick and Tired of hearing people ranting about things being too difficult. I'm quite sick of some people's attitude, forgive me for saying but you know who you are. I won't mince my words, not this time. Don't just look at where you come from. For fuck's sake, that is not important. What's important is the OTHERS.

If you neglect your responsibility, that means another person have to cover your backside which means he gets an increased workload.

If you keep whining, it Kills the morale.

Heard if the chopstick story? 1 chopstick so easy to break. 10 chopsticks are surely harder to break. No one of us can do this alone we are in this together.

In the army, the commander always carry another pistol. Do you know what's the purpose?
It is to shoot those who turn their backs on their country. Please don't do this.

If you persevere, the odds of succeeding is 983269874091987487 Times more than just complaining and whining.

Get it?

P.s. Please do not get upset over this post. I just said it cauze i mean well for you and the other thing i was referring. The only way we can do it is : Together.

Stress Makes one skinnier, Skipper.

For the past week, things were very rough for me.
Common test, the fall of Mr Laptop (he crashed, not fall literally).

But thank goodness it ended. I felt a great weight left of my chest.
I posted one video today which features Masa playing the piano during the Jump concert.
THAT MADE ME REGRET NOT GOING #@$$

Oh well. Yesterday, went gaigai with 8/10 of the gang. We went Settler's Cafe and played game of life, poor kosin and shirmain not million aire XD

I can't believe...

I MISSED WUYUETIAN's CONCERT!
I seriously want to shoot myself. I'm now watching videos of the concert and feeling extremely sour over it.

The concert's atmosphere was very very HIGH. Here's some video proof. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqlxnRUOhgA&mode=related&search=

Man it seems like so much fun! Guess I'll just buy the concert DVD :(
