War

War is an ugly thing.

It Tears Life Apart.

War does not only mean ak-47s and m16s. It goes further. Neighbours, siblings maybe even friends. Yes, those are of lesser extent; but its still a conflict.

They can occur due the small things in life. I mean sometimes such small matters have issues blown up to such a big matter.

Take a step back

Most of the time, such issues are not that serious at all. Why make life a living hell for others and why bother making life so difficult for yourself. This is because people tend to have this "ME" perspective. Selfishness, is probably the main cause. i mean, why don't look at other people's point of view and then decide on your course of action if an arguement occurs?

Of course sometimes arguements occur and we cannot help it due to an external factor. But we can still make the best of what we have.

My Two Cents,
Kenneth

Life lessons.

Overture to Life.

The following is a fictional work done by me.

The morning breeze, often taken for granted. Jacque woke up. He knew that today, 17 December, was the day that he had to attend an anniversary dinner of his school and was going with the girl of his dreams. He had a secret crush on her for a long period of time. Often, he sneaked glances from afar. He noticed that she always stop and look at 1 particular bracelet. There was no way Jacque could afford such an item.

It was half past 3, instead of smashing the half broken alarm clock; Jacque crawled out of bed with enthusiasm today. He wore this well pressed shirt and jeans both he bought from the popular local store.

He was surprising neat today, totally different from his normal self. He brought a box tied with a white ribbon. He then left to pick her up.

He never made it.

The girl was getting impatient, she called Jacque.

He didn’t answer.

The girl heard Jacque’s ring tone from the back, she turned and to her horror. She saw Jacque lying on the floor in crimson red with his hand reaching for his mobile phone. The girl noticed that Jacque’s head was the source of the blood. She noticed that there was a trail of blood starting from the top of the stairway

Jacque noticing that the girl was near, upon his dying moments he handed her the gift tied with now stained in crimson red ribbon.

The girl opened and inside contained the following; a letter, the brooch.

The letter reads,
Hey, I have always wanted to tell you something which I have kept secret. I guess today will be the most appropriate time to let you know. Take a look at the bracelet; you will know what I meant.

Yours truly,
Jacque.
She to the back of the bracelet, it reads; Life is a gift, treasure it. I treasure life as much as I treasure you.

My 1st work and i noticed that it sounds cheesy but what the heck, its my debut!

Karma.

Karma works in special ways. The show "My Name is Earl" certainly makes a point. It is about a guy named Earl who used to the the All-in-one criminal. However he is a changed man due to Karma. Now he goes around making up all those bad things he did.

The show is inspireing.

My interpretation of Karma : Good gets good in return, Bad gets Bad.

When goodwill turns bad

I retyped this post; that means that you will never see the original version =)

The other day i was caught between the crossfire of my friend's arguement.

I was innocent, and was just listening to one of them and was shot for that.
I mean i can't solve this situation, only the 2 sides at war can i am an innocent bystander. i would like to say that i remained neutral and till today refuse to take sides. i just listen to people out. i mean i treasure both friends a lot and hate all these senseless fighting (which is quite pointless actually)

sincerly i hope you guys settle this =)

cheers,
Kenneth

Thank You For All You Have Done, Mr Sim

Silver For NBC 2006. Thank you very much Mr Sim for guiding KCB. Thinking back, its not long since you took over KCB but you surely have made a great impact in this band. I feel during this period I have learnt a lot of things from you. Thank you for being such a great teacher. I am sure that the whole band will agree.

U made a great impact to the lives of the people in KCB

From the "I am the best" game, during the last band camp. I learnt a lot of things and matured. Looking back even further, I once was some one with totally no confidence and relied heavily on other people. Today I am able to stand on my own two feet. I feel Proud. I know KCB will be able to Stand On Their 2 Feet Tall And PROUD too and one day be the TOP BAND in Singapore. That's because I have learnt how to DREAM. And TO Believe in this Dream. You taught me all that. I Thank You.

To All KCBander, don't ever be sad. Silver is an achievement already. All For One And Once For All. Be contented with the result this time but don't even be complacent because

We are going to get SYF GOLD.

We can achieve. Lets all work hard and smart to achieve it. Let KCB Shine Through Kuo Chuan

Cheers,

SweeLee Sales.

Went to SweeLee Yesterday
they were having their mid year sales and guess what

Items are at 50% discount

I was gonna get a bass guitar that i had wanted for a LONG period of time

Woke up at an unusual time of 6 am. Marcus came and my dad drove me and my brother off to Bras Basha Complex. The Line was already really long. fortunately we had marcus's friend who was camping there the day before. we joined him and managed to get in line (at a rather decent spot).

waited till 9am when they finnally allowed people to enter the store. the 3 of us managed to enter the stall at 930am. i can't seem to find the bass i wanted ( Fender Highway1 Jazz Bass or Squire Standered Jazz Bass)i grabbed on to some ibanez bass grs series i think (i'm not a fan of ibanez at all) fortunately when i wanted to pay i saw the JAZZ BASS wooO! i grabbed it. =D

ironically i grabbed a solid hard ibanez gig bag to go with it (it has really hard sponge).got a bass stand, chord ( my old one was breaking) and a strap.

now here's a picture of it

after that, as we left we saw the line that we was once in and boy now it has GREW =D

anyways we walked all around town (bras basha, city hall, peninsular plaza, plaza Singapure) really shagged. but it was worth it
