S.H.E--移动城堡新加坡演唱会(第一天)

Fantastic. SHE + Sun Yan Zi really nailed it. Ashin's song writing is also really top notch

...Becauze I Can.

The day before, I went out with KOKObird, Shirin, Shirmain and yiyang.

It was literary are walkaton. We started from Bras Basha then we walked all the way to bugis and shopped there and then we went to the guan ying temple. It was a pretty cool place, i had my fortune taken and it was looking rather good ^^.

After that we passed by some korean shop and we each bought something from there.

We then went on to Selegie for some tao huey. The TAO HUEY IS GOOD. Smooth Creamy awesomeness.

Then It was to the Cathay where Shirin bought some wrist bands from adidas. The cashier tried hitting on her with SUPER cheesy( and F***ing lame) pick-up lines. Had a good laugh from that.

Next was to Plaza Singapura where we went yamaha, Flash n Splash (where kokobird bought for her brother a really cool looking wallet).

Yesterday, I met Kenneth, Harry, Yong Qiang and we went to play badminton.

It was VERY intense. They were all fantastic players! We met at the hall above the HDB office and we had our game there. The hall was stuffy as usual, ventilation was poor but it was fantastic for badminton. there was no wind to alter the course of flight of the shuttlecock and was a total delight to play.

Kenneth, Harry and I then went for dinner at subway after the game.

And finally to today's topic: ... Becauze I Can.

An analogy; One day you came back from home and you realized that you have homework piled to the height of Mount. Everest. What would you be thinking? It probably would be like " How the heck am i gonna complete these homework by tomorrow?"

That would be our typical mindset which was nurtured by our culture and believes

Why not look at things in another angle : ...Because I Can.

If we apply the same analogy but with the above mentioned mindset, I'm sure we would be able to cover more than the 1st analogy.

Lets Kick "I Can't" from our dictionary and replace it with a Million of " I Can"

All the small things.

Ever wondered why is life so monotonous sometimes?

Humans are genetically 99.something% similar but what makes us so unique?

I believe this lies in all the small things
Small differences, rather than drastic ones.
We tend to notice the drastic change but we rarely notice the minor ones which is a waste.

Its just like music, the obvious melody and the not-so-obvious counter-melody. The counter melody is almost certain the more refreshing one out of the latter.

And this just make the small things more precious, more endearing.
Have you noticed certain thing that we have always taken for granted?
Such stuff, e.g. life, friends, parents, etc.. are often victims of such behaviour.

I recently spent 1 whole day without talking to people.
It was a really horrible feeling, honestly.
Usually, there will be friends to chat with, to laugh with, to spend time with but this time there is none. Maybe you should try to live out this solitude and perhaps you can gain some insight.

Now, I'll try to notice the efforts people make and to recognize such efforts and to praise them

Just like what "i not stupid" opened with; When was the last time you praised someone?

...and the sky turned red.

Yesterday's concert was a blast. KCB you guys are F***ing awesome. The hall was filled to its brim and everyone was super hyped. I've never seen a concert filled with so much energy.

My part of this event begun when i reached the school at 4 pm.
I was instructed to be looking after the sec 1 members who are supposed to do a very cool dance.
My sec ones *cough* gang *cough* was especially enthusiastic.

After receiving my instructions i headed up to the band room with the rest of the alumni members. Jacqueline ended up trying to play a song which she practiced so hard on but forgot and was talking to Geraldine. Ignatius went to the hall after a while and that that leaves me Joanna, Nicolette and Heng Jie playing a new game i learnt called Hearts Or issit bridge? ...haha!

Soon after, Jun Liang came and we chatted regarding schooling matters.

Jun Liang then went to help Delphne to buy food for the band.

At 5pm, we went to visit our old teachers. Joanna and Nic had Ms Teo, Me and Heng Jie talked to JU REN! Mrs B S TAY, the best teacher ever.

We got psycoed in to joining KCPSS Alumni. haha!

Soon after the concert was going to begin and we headed to our usher post. I Befriended the sec ones, my gang, and they were super hyper active. hahaha!

Then, i watched the concert and soaked up the atmosphere, it felt nostalgic and surreal.

I then led the sec ones to their location of the dance and qued them for their dance.
Their dance was fantastic =)

Mr Low and the vice principal joined in the dance, I joined in too dragging along the rest of the alumni (Opps! =b) and soon all the teachers came and joined in as well, that was certainly a Highlight to remember.

After the whole event, Jun Liang, Sheng En, Nicolette, Nicole, Heng Jie and I went to mac for supper/dinner and spent the rest of the night chatting.
=)

On another note, I would like to take one or two paragraphs to write something on forgiving a particular person.

I forgive this person. Cold, Sarcastic, Aloof, being Proud ... whatever.
I forgive you. It might be becaused of my actions that cauzed this strained tension but it takes 2 hands to clap, part of the fault lies with you yourself.

I forgave you, Now its only a matter of you doing the same. This conflict is pointless and there is no point fighting it out. If it makes you happy, I'll surrender.

I MISS MY JOB

You know something. I MISS MY JOB. IT was a 4 day stint but it was awsome. I know i am contradicting with the earlier post i made about my job (i guess that was just the initial feeling about the job) but which job in the world allows you to:

1. Sleep On The Job
2. Read Newspaper On The Job
3. Crack your iPod till its maximum sound level and listen to it
4. Read Magazines
5. Make Phone Calls and chat for a LONG time
6. Make as many toilet breaks as you need
7. Watch other people work (blue collared work. Sadistic, Maybe but it sure is a source of entertainment)
8. Command People around.

And Get Paid While You are doing it

Anyways, today when i woke up i can't find my specs. Apparently, it was lost somewhere in my room. I guess it dropped on to the floor and i had to search for it. It was difficult, but i found it eventually.
